Payment cut-off times and processing times

When making payments with 3S Money, it’s important to understand the bank transfer processing times and cutoff rules to avoid delays.

The bank transfer cutoff time is set at 16:00 GMT(BST) / 17:00 CET, meaning payment instructions received after this time may be processed the next business day. By contrast, SEPA Instant payment processing happens immediately and cannot be revoked once sent.

At 3S Money, business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Seasonal opening hours are subject to change, and we advise all clients to contact their Relationship Manager for confirmation before making a payment or transfer.

Cutoff times for bank transfers

• 16:00 GMT(BST) / 17:00 CET (Business days only)
  
  

• Payment instructions received before the cutoff time will be processed the same business day
  
  

• Payment instructions received after the cutoff time or on non-business days will be processed the following business day
  

Payment processing time

• Transfers in EUR and GBP are generally processed on the same business day or, at the latest, on the following business day.

  
  

• Transactions in other currencies, excluding EUR and GBP, are typically processed on the next business day. Please note that processing times for these transactions may extend up to two to four business days, depending on the specific currency and the destination country.  
  
  

• In cases where the payment requires currency conversions within 3S Money (excluding the EUR-GBP currency pair), the payment process may be delayed by up to two business days.  
  
  

• Occasionally, additional process time is required to comply with relevant Anti-Money Laundering regulatory requirements, which could result in delays in payment processing.
