What is a Pooled Bank Account?

At 3S Money, most of our accounts are individual IBANs. This means you'll have a unique account number assigned to your company. Learn more about IBANs here.

For some jurisdictions and currencies, we’re not able to provide those individual account numbers, so we’ll use what’s known as a pooled account.

Pooled accounts are accounts that can receive money from different clients. To reconcile that payment and ensure it belongs to you and credit it correctly, you need to quote a unique reference number when sending a payment.

Pooled accounts aren’t a service we regularly offer – there are individual accounts available for most currencies – but in the very specific circumstance that one suits your business’s needs, we’ll tell you straight away.
